Imagineers Board Training Seminars Continue - Latest Seminar Offered on What Every Board Member Should Know About Serving on Their Community Board.

We continue to offer our free Board Training Seminar Series to all our client board members. The most recent seminar was conducted on February 26th and 27th and covered the topic "How to be the Best Board Ever. What Every Board Member Should Know About Serving on Their Community Board. The presentation was given by Margey Meyer, CMCA, PCAM of Houston, Texas a nationally-recognized educator, trainer, speaker and author in the field of leading and managing community associations. The presentation provided insight on how to be an effective board and have productive meetings and improve the decision making process.

We were pleased to be able to offer this to our client communities at no costs. We are also pleased that we had one-hundred and fifty (151) board members attend both sessions, representing seventy-seven (77) communities. There were many great questions and a good exchange of information. A copy of the power point presentation is available by (clicking here). We appreciate the feedback on our free board training seminars and plan to continue to provide this service. Past seminar topics have included the following:

  • ABC: A Basic Course in Community Associations
  • How the Changes to the Common Interest Ownership Act Impact My Community;
  • Roberts Rules and the CIOA required conduct of board meetings;
  • How to Get the Most Out of Your Community Financial Statements and;
  • Community Web Portal: How to Best Utilize this as a Beneficial Tool for your Community.
